SUMMER SOLSTICE: Sacred Sisterhood Wild Spa Retreat

You are invited to join a weekend exploration of summer seasonal blessings, reclamation, earth magic and ancient wisdom as you are immersed gently back into the nurturing arms of Mama Earth and your loving community.

You are warmly welcomed to drop deeply into yourself, to the wisdom you carry within. Here is the opportunity to stop, to reflect, share, and be nourished and nurtured in a deeply supportive environment. You will journey alongside other women who are with you on a quest to cultivate their powerful creative fire and align with the ancient magic available during this potent time of the year - reconnecting with the spark of passion that lies dormant within.

This moment in time offers us the opportunity to root into the seasonal shift and honour the radiant energy of the Summer Solstice. This traditional solar festival marks the longest day of the year and is a time of great beauty and the blossoming abundance of summer.

This retreat opens arms to a supportive circle of magical beings to uncover their ancient magic and unwind in the arms of an ancient, English forest. Our practices will be gentle and celebratory - exploring the seasonal feeling through the community, embodiment, healing sound, connection, sharing circle, plant medicines, wisdom rituals, ceremony, earth magic and sacred song.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Throughout the weekend you will be invited to experience a number of practices, rituals and initiations for you to connect and go deeper into to the radiant beauty that lies within, and around you - honouring the dominating solar forces presiding and basking in the supportive glow of mama Earth.

THINGS TO NOTE/FAQs:

1. There is no phone reception at the venue. We encourage you to take the opportunity to disconnect from the outside world, and to fully immerse yourself in nature. Prepare the people you love prior to attending by letting them know where you will be. We have a connected phone/wifi spot for emergencies.
2. All activities will be offered OUTSIDE in the woodland which is uncovered. We are encouraging our retreat communities to let go and immerse themselves back into the enchanted arms of the forest - however please take into consideration UK weather and prepare for cooler temperatures/rainfall/being outside. Some activities may be cancelled or rearranged if necessary.
3. Bedding is provided, but please bring a towel! All our lovely accomodation options are shared, cosy and snuggled up. We find this encourages a strong bonding process between folks. However if you're in need of a more private space please let us know - this will come at an extra cost but we will do what we can.

THE ENCHANTED GLADE

An off-grid West Sussex sanctuary inspired by community and transformation, with soothing eco-accomodation options, a wild spa, and activities designed to put you back in touch with nature... and yourself. Beautifully tucked away in rural Haywards Heath, complete with its own spring-fed stream, you'll find it hard to believe that Enchanted Glade Retreats is under 35 miles away from the hustle and bustle of London.

Immersed in the abundant charms of nature, here you'll discover a creative selection of cosy off-grid accommodation, a nourishing wild spa, visiting wild deer, bluebell woodlands and an expanding community for beautiful souls - all set under a twinkling night sky. Faithfully awaiting are a traditional wood-fired barrel sauna, and a relaxing hot tub-under-the-stars (there's even a ‘Wim Hof' cold plunge barrel if you're feeling brave!) together with a heated treatment space that's just perfect for an indulgent oil massage... particularly after a long day of rambling in nature!

Wear yourselves out in whichever way you choose, before ending your day in the loveliest way imaginable. Sat around the crackling communal firepit, settling in for storytelling and mugs of steaming Cacao with your brand-new best friends.

VENUE + ACCOMODATION

The Enchanted Glade offers you several different eco and off-grid accomodation options for a comfortable and reconnecting expeirence. We have 8 units available - 4 converted trucks and 4 furnished bell tents. Each unit has its own quirky attributes so please check specification of each.

All accomodation options have access to cooking facilities. Every truck unit has it its own little kitchen and there is a larger sheltered, fully equipped kitchen next to the bell tents. There is a large cool box and small fridge for communal use too.

Please note- The bathroom facilities are all communal - 2 toilets and 3 showers (2 hot and 1 cold).

~ GYPSY WAGON (for three/four - sharing) - The Gypsy Wagon is a stylish and traditional retreat, yet furnished with all the mod-cons you'll need, including a fridge, oven, and charging points for phones and laptops. Sleeping up to three in a blissfully private space, you'll have a downy double bed and two (small) single bunks to curl up in, a private mini kitchen, and a toasty wood-burner.

~ MAGGIE THE WAGON (for two/four - sharing) - Maggie the wagon is the latest addition to The Enchanted Glade. A beautiful converted truck with 2 x generous double beds, this is the perfect spot to curl up in the lap of luxury. With your own mini-kitchen, table, kettle, stove and cool box this will be your own little slice of heaven.

~ QUIRKY CABIN (for private retreating - Our private retreating option, perfect as a love nest for a couple attending together or to stretch out solo. The cutest cabin with glowing solar fairylights for a romantic flair and the cosiest double bed to snuggle up in.

~ DREAMWEAVER WAGON (for three/four - sharing) - This new addition to the Enchanted Glade this beautiful and cosy wagon offers a snuggly double bed and two small singles. Great for sharing together or to get to know new friends!

~ BELL TENTS (for three/four - sharing) - Last but by no means least, You can choose your favourite from four unique bell tents, each equipped with soft bedding and a crackling wood-burner, to sleep 3/4 adults in one big double bed and two single mattresses.

FOOD

To encourage the 'wild camping' and community feel, we will only be providing two meals a day (breakfast + dinner) in the cost of the retreat. In the evening we will dine together under the stars in the evening, sharing delicious plates of plant-based and seasonal offerings and in the morning we will have delicious brunches to fill our tummies.

Expect heaped, steaming bowls of nourishing grains, pulses, veggies, bowls of fruit and delicious deserts to keep your tummy full and happy. There will be a healthy snack bowl available through the whole day and herbal teas will be on offer too!

Lunch will not be provided in the cost of this retreat - so you can have your own space and time to cook mindfully and create beautiful, culinary offerings to yourself.

The food provided will all be vegetarian with some possible local dairy and egg options depending on seasonal availability and request. Herbal tea will be provided but coffee and wine will not. Please let us know as soon as you can if you have any food intolerances/dietaries/allergies.

Public Transport

The Closest train stations are Haywards Heath and East Grinstead where you can easily get a 10 minute taxi drive to us. 3 Bridges is also not that far. The 270 bus comes from Brighton and Forest Row and stops very close to our site. Please follow the map to find us, When you arrive at Lower Sheriff farmhouse, please ensure that you come along the hedge where you will see the sign and entrance for The Glade. There is hardstanding at the gate and parking in the field. We create a whatsapp group in advance so that you can arrange a lift share or taxi share with other women on the retreat.

Driving

We will have a (free) carpark available for our use for the whole weekend. You'll receive driving directions upon registration.

Molly-Anne Chinner is a sound healing artist, vocalist, songstress, circle weaver, Cacao guardian, Earth-lover and Yogini.

Passionate about the ancient healing powers of sound, music, voice and plant medicine - Molly finds great joy in weaving her beloved crystal alchemy bowls, pure and soulful voice and hand-crafted shamanic drum into her uniquely ambient and explorative soundscapes that inspire deep connection and kinship of the heart.

Molly uniquely combines her ethereal channelled song with a lifelong connection to the beauty of our planet Earth - sharing deeply emotive, otherworldly soundscapes that guide the listener deeper within the inner landscape and invite connection with source, consciousness and self.

Her leadership with the Cacao medicine comes through a seven year self-initiation and deep relationship. She shares and serves the medicine from a place of heart-centered joy, calling in a new paradigm frequency of love and harmony, for a new Earth to rise.

Mela Fismer is a dedicated advocate for bringing people together to heal and access their inner gifts.

With nearly two decades of experience as a senior yoga teacher, Mela has honed her expertise in guiding individuals towards physical and spiritual well-being.

As a movement artist, Mela specialises in embodied movement, shakti dance, and sensual movement, empowering women through self-expression and body awareness. She believes in the transformative power of movement and uses vibrational sound as a tool to facilitate healing and growth in her students.

Mela's unique gift lies in creating safe and welcoming spaces for individuals to explore their true selves. As a mistress of ceremony, she offers meaningful rituals such as mothers blessings, birthdays, and coming of age ceremonies, fostering a sense of connection and celebration.
